In our continued effort to effectively manage and support our human resources through clear performance goals, Solar Sister has implemented a dedicated performance management tool, PerformYard. This strategic move is designed to strengthen our human capital and ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency in the management of employee performance across the organization. Effective performance management remains a key HR best practice, helping organizations stay aligned with modern people management standards, drive employee engagement, and foster continuous growth and development.
Previously, Google Forms and Sheets had been our primary tools for performance tracking since the inception of Solar Sister. However, as our employee base continued to grow, it became increasingly important to adopt a more structured and scalable system. In mid-2025, we incorporated PerformYard into our operations. We used the last quarter of 2025 to learn, onboard, and conduct hands-on adoption of the platform.
As we move further into 2026, PerformYard will play a key role in supporting our performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and ongoing performance tracking. This tool will help us monitor each team member’s progress in their role and identify opportunities for growth and development.
