In 2024, Solar Sister recruited 1,360 entrepreneurs across Nigeria, Tanzania, and Kenya, contributing to our ongoing support of over 11,900 entrepreneurs. Solar Sister’s core model continued to succeed, as shown by growth in product sales in 2024, despite significant setbacks, including catastrophic flooding in parts of Nigeria and Kenya, political instability affecting operations in Kenya, and ongoing economic challenges in Tanzania.

We’re thrilled to share some highlights from 2023, marking a year of growth and impact for Solar Sister.

Highlight: In May 2022, Solar Sister unveiled an exciting new partnership with LivelyHoods Kenya, bringing us closer to our goal of creating economic opportunity and clean energy solutions for millions of people across sub-Saharan Africa.
