Solar Sister Welcomes Renewable Energy  Leader Elizabeth Kaiga to Its Board of Directors

Washington, DC, March 10, 2021

Solar Sister announced today that Elizabeth Kaiga has joined the organization’s Board of Directors. Elizabeth is a seasoned executive in the renewable energy industry and brings new perspectives and expertise to support the growing programs now offered across the full spectrum of renewable energy. She is currently Key Account Director for Renewable Energy at DNV GL, where she manages customer relationships and quality assurance activities. Her work focuses on providing strategies and solutions to support the global transition to sustainable energy that is safer, cleaner, and more reliable.

Kaiga was recently recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy for her achievements and leadership in clean energy. Kaiga received the C3E Award in the business category during the virtual C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium. The U.S. C3E Awards are administered by the MIT Energy Initiative, Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Texas A&M Energy Institute.  Kaiga also serves on the Board of Directors for Women of Renewable Industries & Sustainable Energy (WRISE), a national nonprofit that promotes the education, professional development, and advancement of women to achieve a strong, diversified workforce in the renewable energy sector.
