Measuring impact
Solar Sister uses a data-driven approach to understand and strengthen our impact. Through ongoing data collection and partnerships with organizations such as Global Off-Grid Lighting Association (GOGLA), we track how clean energy businesses improve incomes, expand energy access, and reduce environmental harm in last-mile communities.
Our monitoring and evaluation systems help us make informed decisions, capture real changes in women’s lives, and demonstrate the value of investing in women-led energy solutions. We also collaborate with research partners and institutions to deepen learning, strengthen our model, and build the evidence for women’s role in achieving universal energy access.
