My time at Solar Sister has been an expression of my belief in the power of human imagination and in collective action as a source of light in a world that often seems dark. For me, co-founding Solar Sister with Katherine over the past decade has been a transformational journey of connection, learning, impact, and sisterhood. I am immensely grateful to each and every human being who has been a part of this journey.
Solar Sister entrepreneurs, their communities, and our team have been a renewable source of inspiration, power, love, and joy for me personally throughout the last decade. No one person can do this vital work alone. Look what we have achieved together!
In the face of the climate emergency, as a daughter of the Global South, I will apply a justice lens to the clean energy movement, finding new and creative ways to manifest my own light in the world as I go forward.
My poetry, my art, my social entrepreneurship will continue to be guided by my commitment to creating beauty in the world. Thank you for sharing yourselves, your stories, your lives with me.
